There are several
keys to unlocking (or receiving) your healing, and I'd like to
take this opportunity to discuss a few of them with you.
If
my people, which are called by My name, shall humble
themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their
wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive
their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chron.
7:14)
One key to
getting your miracle is to humble yourself and seek
God's face and repent of any sin you may have in your life,
and turn toward God. If you do this, God will hear from heaven
and come and heal your body, marriage, family, finances, or
whatever you need healing for.
Basically, we're
talking about getting your heart right and accepting what
Jesus has already done on the cross.
You see, man
looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.
If your heart is not right in every area, you are not
receiving from God what is already yours. Your prayers cannot
be answered or even heard if your heart is not right. Psalm
66:18 says, "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will
not hear me."
Are You Afflicted?
If the
heart is the root of the problem, that is where God can do the
greatest work. If there is unconfessed sin or disobedience in
a person's life, this can prevent a person from receiving
healing.
For example: Fear, worry, bitterness,
unforgiveness, resentment, disobedience, etc. These things
open the door for an attack of the enemy. Just listen to what
James 5 says:
Is
any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him
sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the
elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing
him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith
shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if
he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess
your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye
may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:13-16)
There are two
causes for people being sick:
- It is a
outright attack from the enemy to hinder God's plan for your
life
- A person has
things in his life that he has not gotten right with God or
with others and he is holding things in his heart that have
opened the door for the devil to come right in and put
sickness on him.
Get your heart
right with God and with others and God will do His part.
Another key to receiving your healing is releasing
your faith because faith is simply belief. Jesus told the
woman with the issue of blood that it was her faith
that made her whole.
And
He said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go
in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
(Mark 5:34)
She placed a
demand on the anointing of God that flowed out of Jesus by her
faith, she believed that Jesus was who she had heard
about—that He was the Messiah and believed all the benefits
that came from Him.
Read Mark 5:25-34 to get the whole
picture.
Still another key to receiving your healing
is to stop seeking the healing but seek the Healer (Jesus).
Matt. 6:32b: "For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have
need of all these things." Matt. 6:33: "But seek ye first the
kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things
shall be added unto you."
Seek after Jesus—Who
provided healing for you when He went to the cross. Now after
you get your heart right with God and with others, you release
your faith and you seek Him with all your being. Ask Him to
manifest your healing. He will do it. Ask Him. Believe Him.
Receive from Him.
Be Healed In Jesus' Name
Healing belongs to you. Your healing may or may not come
right away. If you get it instantly, praise God! If you don't
get it right away, keep praising and thanking God until it
comes.
Another key is giving thanks even before
you see any results. Colossians 2:7: "Rooted and built up in
Him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught,
abounding therein with thanksgiving."
Thanking God
that you have received your healing even before you see it
manifested is exercising your belief and this is very pleasing
to God.
Now after you get your heart right with God
and with others, you release your faith and you seek Him with
all your being. Ask Him to manifest your healing. He will do
it. Ask Him. Believe Him. Receive from Him and thank Him, Healing belongs to
you.
Be healed in the Name of Jesus!
